Why Evergreen?

Why Adult Daycare?  – Adult daycare is the highest quality, least expensive and most flexible option in long term care because it is the only model built on sharing.  As a group, the participants benefit from the RN on site, the dedicated Activities Coordinator, the professional staff and the upscale accommodations.

Why Evergreen? – Evergreen goes above and beyond certification requirements to ensure the best programming while maintaining cost controls.  Skilled nurses like RNs and LPNs are on site all day rather than 4 hours as required.  All our staff are certified nursing assistants or above in training.

Activities are offered multiple times each day covering the cognitive, memory, gross motor, fine motor, artistic, social and spiritual needs of our participants.  And, a personal care plan is developed for each participant to meet his or her individual needs.

Evergreen provides safe, affordable care to adults in a socially and intellectually stimulating group setting.

1. Therapeutic Activities:  Our staff work with participants individually and in groups to maximize their current functional abilities.  Examples include:  corn hole, jigsaw puzzles, old movies, music therapy, memory games, sudoku on iPads, arts and crafts.
2. Healthy Catered Meals:  A registered dietician and a talented chef ensure that our delicious hot meals meet the nutritional needs of our participants.  Each menu is carefully crafter to avoid repetition and to ensure a well rounded diet using seasonally available fresh ingredients.
3. Nurses on Staff:  RNs and LPNs are on site at all times to assess participants throughout the day and deliver complex care such as sliding scale insulin.
4. Convenient Extended Hours:  Caregivers who work full time job or need early/late appointments don’t need to worry.  We are here M-F from 6:30 am to 6:00 pm to accommodate the real work needs of our participant families.
5. Socially Engaging Activities:  Our participants, working and playing in groups, support each other to access and retain their cognitive abilities.  Forming friendships, offering charity, accepting assistance and just laughing together enriches the soul and brings joy to our participants.  There is never a dull moment at Evergreen.
